Elmer T Lee 100th Anniversary Bourbon 100pf 750ml

A commemorative release that celebrates the 100th Birthday of namesake Elmer T. Lee, the ‘Centenary’ bottle or 100 Year Tribute Single Barrel Sour Mash is one of the most sought-after Kentucky whiskeys in circulation today. Bottled at 100 proof to align with this theme (the standard variety is 90 proof), this bottle is a classically appointed bourbon whiskey that foregrounds bold maple, creamy vanilla and faint coffee notes and underpins them with hints of toasted oak and sweet berry. The one-time-only 100 Year Tribute release will have the same mash bill and age as the standard 90 proof Elmer T. Lee bourbon, but will be fittingly bottled at 100 proof. The distillery tells us to expect “the classic taste that Elmer would have loved, with a nose of maple syrup up front, a taste of creamy vanilla with berries, and a long finish of coffee, toasted oak, and vanilla.”
